Wienerschnitzel AAF Campaign

The Brief: The American Advertising Federation Cedar Banks Team at Michigan State University was tasked this past year with turning the negative stigma about hot dogs into a better consumer perception with West Coast based brand, Wienershnitzel, at the fore front.

Strategy: Our campaign will leverage over five decades championing the hot dog to lead the conversation that eliminates consumer guilt and validates hot dogs in today’s food landscape.

Creative Strategy: Our campaign will use Wienerschnitzel’s extensive history with the hot dog to romanticize its relationship with consumers.

Creative Role: I was involved in early research and had input in the style guide of the campaign. My main task however, was concepting the merchandise section of the campaign.

Creative Team: Amanda Merkel, Shannon Parr, Max Sarkis, Tanner Evans, Andi Ives, Nareh Vartanian, Julie Musarra, Anna Warbel, Melanie Ebling, Megan Vratsinas, Johnathan Douglas, and  Brandon Jung
